Introducing Roseart’s new Lapis Lazuli line
We are proud to announce the new Lapis Lazuli line exclusively on Roseart’s website. The intense and exclusive blue color of lapis lazuli has always been a symbol for purity, health, elegance, luck and nobility. It is for this reason that this splendid semi-precious stone has been used by man for more than 6,000 years to highlight its creations. The Sumerians and Babylonians gave splendor to their best jewels, by using lapis lazuli mined in Afghanistan. The Greeks also attributed to the stone healing. The Egyptian Pharaohs used lapis lazuli in their thrones and funeral masks and Cleopatra used its dust as eye make up. During the Renaissance period, lapis lazuli powder has also been used as a fade resistant blue pigment by renowned painters as Leonard da Vinci, Fra Angelico and Albrecht D¨urer.
The Stone and crystals of the zodiac for November 23 – December 21 is Lapis Lazuli.
Its healing properties are known to be - Depression, Immune System, Psychic Awareness, and Purify Body/Mind/Spirit. For those of you into Chakra information, this is from the 6th Chakra; the Color is Indigo, the Energy Focus - Spiritual awareness, psychic power, intuition, and light and the stone is Lapis Lazuli.
By combining hand blown glass with natural Lapis Lazuli lazurite crystals, we have created a product line unlike any other in the world today.

Claudio Mazzi Italian Black and Gold Marble lighter auction
UPDATE: The silent auction is now closed. Lynn Wycoff from Florida placed the winning bid of $1,200.00. Unfortunately, a late bid came in for $1,700.00. We’re sorry that this opportunity was missed by the bidder but wanted to let other collectors know how high it could have gone. Congratulations to the winner.
This masterpiece is from the Great Ages of Man Series and is the sixth joint effort that
Mazzi and Roseart have founded. Claudio Mazzi took the picture of the statue in
front of Santa Croce Church in Florence, Italy where Dante's
tomb is found. The inscription reads: "Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita."
which translates to "In the midway of this our mortal life, I found me in a gloomy
wood, astray." Canto 1., lines 1, 2, Translated by Rev. Henry Francis
Cary, M.A.
The lighter will be sold at a silent auction that will run until August 19th. The current bid is $990.00, interested bidders can call 814-362-3030 or send an e-mail to roseartlightersusa@verizon.net.
